Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc.

In keeping with the mission of the Horatio Alger Association, the scholarship programs provide financial assistance to students throughout the nation who have significant financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. Eligibility criteria include: high school graduation in spring/summer, demonstrated critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), and United States citizenship. Early Childhood Education Degree Scholarships

Potentially hundreds or thousands of early childhood education degree scholarships. Some of these scholarships will be dedicated to ECE specifically; whereas, others will be dedicated to future teachers in general. Be sure to look at all scholarships for education majors no matter whether the scholarship is for college and university expenses, licensures, or for conferences. Semper Fidelis All-American Program

Proudly presented by the United States Marine Corps, the Semper Fidelis All-American Program recognized high school students who face life’s battles with the conviction and determination to succeed. To apply to this program you must be a high school junior who possesses a fighting spirit to improve the lives of others, and meet the basic requirements.  Please apply at

Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundations Scholarship:

The Foundation will be awarding a minimum of 25 scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2020.  Each scholarship is a one-time award of $1,500 and is to be used during the 2020-2021 school year.  The Foundation will also award up to five scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2020 that will be attending a two-year technical college.  Applicants must receive their home telecommunications bill from TDS to be eligible.  Must be postmarked by February 11, 2020.  Click HERE for electronic copy of the application.

Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association

The WCA Student Scholarship is available to any high school senior enrolled or planning to enroll in any university, technical college or community college.  Please visit HERE to receive criteria and application.  Deadline is February 18, 2020.  

Technical Excellence Scholarship

The state of Wisconsin is offering the Technical Excellence Scholarship to graduating high school seniors from every public high school in Wisconsin, planning on attending a Wisconsin Technical College in the fall of 2020. Waterford Union High is able to nominate 3 students for this scholarship. Students planning on attending a Wisconsin Technical College after graduation should submit a request for consideration. Students who are awarded the scholarship will be awarded up to $2,250 per year, to be applied towards tuition.

Educators Credit Union Scholarship

Once again, Educators is awarding 35 outstanding high school seniors with $2,000 each to pay to higher education.  Deadline is February 27, 2020. Please apply at


Cousins Subs Scholarship

Cousins Subs is honoring WIAA high school senior athletes who demonstrate academic excellence, sports leadership and community involvement with a chance to win a scholarship for continuing education.  Learn more at Deadline is February 29, 2020. 

Michael Batten Memorial Scholarship

Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to Racine area students during the 2019-20 school year.  The awardees will primarily be selected by reviewing their community service and extra-curricular activity of any nature.  Only high school seniors who live in and attend school in Racine County are eligible.  Applications must be received by March 1, 2020.  Please visit HERE for application and requirements.

American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association

The Milwaukee AHEPA Chapter 43 scholarship program recognizes academically gifted high school students and rewards those in our Hellenic community who have achieved outstanding success.  We acknowledge and place high value on the well-rounded student and their potential for future success. Our program is a source of encouragement to the student planning on attending university or college, helping him or her appreciate our Hellenic heritage, and provide for our community an ever-expanding source of support for the future of AHEPA.  Deadline is March 2, 2020 and click HERE for application.

WISA Scholarship

The Wisconsin Security Association is pleased to announce the availability of two college scholarships for graduating seniors whose parents are full-time, active members of a Wisconsin police or fire department.  The application deadline is Friday March 6, 2020. Racine County Fair Scholarship

The Racine County Agricultural Society is offering academic scholarship for graduation high school students who are a Racine County Fair members of 4H , FFA or a similar youth group doing similar work and are pursuing further education at a two or four year college, technical or trade school. Citizen’s Bank Scholarship

Citizens Bank is pleased to announce that it will be offering six $1,000 Warren E. Hansen, Sr. Memorial Scholarships to graduating high school seniors attending schools in the communities that the bank serves.  Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, perform community service, and intend to pursue a career in business and/or finance.  Deadline is April 8, 2020.  Please visit for application and requirements.

The Alice Aber-Smith Scholarship Fund & the Earnest F. and Edna P. Aber Scholarship Fund

 For the academic year, 2020-21 awards from The Alice Aber-Smith Scholarship Fund and The Earnest F. and Edna P. Aber Scholarship Fund shall be made only for attendance at a college or university that is affiliated with, or governed by a Christian organization.  For more details and application, please visit HERE.  Deadline is April 15, 2020.  


AB Nicholas Scholarship Foundation

This year the Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation will offer scholarships to approximately 65 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates based on need, academic achievement and character.  The annual scholarships - $10,000 for four-year programs and $5,000 for two-year programs-are renewable for the length of the program.  You can find more information at our website,  Scholarship applications are available online only starting February 1 and must be submitted by April 30.

Criteria for applying for this scholarship:

  • Residents of Wisconsin
  • Public and private high school students
  • Basketball program participants in their senior year
  • Planning to attend a University of Wisconsin System School

Waterford Union High School Art Fund Scholarship

Selection process: Interested applicants will fill out the application form. The applications will be given to the Art Fund College Scholarship Committee. The committee will select 2 senior art students (at the discretion of the art department) that will be pursuing an art career to each receive a $500 scholarship. Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Art Scholarship


The Dream Pool Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that they will be awarding one $2500 scholarship, two $2000 scholarship, and three $1000 scholarship this year. The purpose of these scholarships is to assist individuals pursuing education in the visual arts.  Please for application and requirements. Deadline is April 20, 2020.  

Burlington Area Garden Club Scholarship

The Donna Kuzniar Memorial Scholarship is offered annually by the Burlington Area Garden Club.  Scholarships funds up to $1000 are available to part-time and full-time students in the Burlington, WI area planning to study plants or gardening in the following areas: agriculture, botany, floral design, horticulture, landscape architecture or design, soil science, conservation, or related fields.  Deadline for application is May 1, 2020.  Click here for application and requirements.

Wisconsin Towns Association 2020 Scholarship Program

Each year, in partnership with Rural Mutual Insurance Company and Scott Construction, the Wisconsin Towns Association offers seven $1,000 scholarships to students who are graduating from a Wisconsin public or private high school and will be attending a Wisconsin public or private college or university in the fall of that year. Applicants are required to write a 500-1000 word essay on a specific topic that relates to town government. Students can apply at Deadline is May 29, 2020.  


PB & J Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is focused on helping students whose test scores and GPAs might be the best, but have the drive to succeed.  Students can apply using this link . Deadline is May 31, 2020.
